When your boyfriend asks you, "can you take a week off from work, so we can go to Hawaii?"  The answer is always, "YES.  I'll buy a hat!"  Which is basically how our trip to Kauia was planned.

This was my true first time to Hawaii ((I went with my family to Maui when I was 6 and spent the whole trip digging a giant hole in the sand)), so needless to say I was ecstatic to go.

Gabe packed our week with activities - ATV's, luau, spa day ((for me)), helicopter tour ((for Gabe)).  My favorite activity that we did on the trip was the horseback ridding.  We rode horses along the beach and through areas of the island you cannot get to by car.  The sights were amazing!  My horse was named Sweetie, and I wanted to take her home with me by the end of the trip.  BUTTTTT I don't really have a place for a horse in my apartment. ((Apartment living is the worst, am I right?))

Hawaii was beautiful, relaxing and just what I needed.  Honestly, who doesn't need a little Hawaii in their life?  This was definitely up there on my list of all time favorite vacations.

Are you traveling anywhere this summer?  Have you been to Hawaii?  Share those good vacation vibes in the comments below. ;)

    1. Hi Cilia! It really was a dream. I want to go back! Are you traveling anywhere this summer?

  2. WOW!
Looks like this boyfriend is a keeper, Bobbi!
What an adventurous and beautiful trip. These are some lovely photos with special memories.
I've heard a lot about Hawaii (and seen it in movies) but never like this. It's beach and mountain-y!

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. It was beautiful!! I wish we would have had more time to go on hikes. There are parts of the island that you can't even get to unless you hike or take a boat. So cool!

And yes, I think I'll keep my boyfriend. ;)

  3. I've always wanted to visit Hawaii and this has made me want to even more so! You're photos are so beautifully taken!! X

    1. Thank you! You should definitely go to Hawaii if you ever have a chance! It's so relaxing and beautiful.

  4. Loved seeing these photos but they make me miss Hawaii and that vibe so much. I've been to Maui once and Oahu a couple of times but never Kauia!
