It doesn't feel like the holidays until I've watched one of my favorite Christmas flicks.  If you're looking for a suggestion of a movie that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit then check out one of these!  Here are my top 10 favorite holiday movies:

10. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town

This is a nostalgic pick for me.  It is one of those claymation holiday classics that is always on TV during the month of December.  But I'm putting it as my number ten because my sister and I will still sing songs and quote the lines from it.

9. It's Christmas Time Again, Charlie Brown

You might be asking yourself... Bobbi, why didn't you pick A Charlie Brown Christmas?  Well friend, I will tell you.  It's because, for some reason, I only owned the sequel when I was a child.  But it didn't matter because I freakin' loved the sequel!  So if you haven't seen it, then I suggest you give it a go.  It's only 25 minutes long.

8. The Nightmare Before Christmas

This movie is all around fantastic.  Also, it's like a BOGO deal - you get a Christmas movie and a Halloween movie for the price of one.  Who doesn't love a good holiday BOGO sale?

7. The Holiday

AH - my heart!  I love this movie so much!  The old man is by far my favorite little old man ever.  And yes, I know the movie is not about the old man making friends with Kate Winslet, but maybe it should be.  GAH!  So good.

6. The Bishop's Wife

This is a true classic film.  If you're not familiar, it is about an angel giving guidance to a Bishop and his wife, and it all takes place during the Christmas season.  If you're looking for an old Hollywood Christmas movie, I recommend this one!

5. Love Actually

It doesn't feel like Christmas until I've watched Love Actually.  This movie is just so sweet and fun, and it makes you feel warm and fuzzy.  The Hugh Grant story line is my favorite.

4. Miracle on 34th Street

Another classic Christmas movie that I can't live without.  I prefer the original over the 90s remake.  This movie gives me all the feels no matter how many times I've seen it.
3. The Muppet Christmas Carol

Gonzo and Rizzo are my favorite Muppet duo, and they lead this retelling of A Christmas Carol.  The songs in this movie are great, and the jokes still make me laugh even though I've seen this movie a hundred times.

2. Elf

"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"  You can't help but to feel cheerful after watching Elf.  This is also one Christmas movie that I can watch any time of the year.

1. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch has been my favorite Christmas movie since it came out in 2000.  Jim Carrey is so good as the Grinch that I forget he is even in the movie while I'm watching it - it's just the Grinch and other actors.  For me, it's not Christmas until I've watched this movie.

This will be my last post until after Christmas, so I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy holidays!
